Therapists Working Onsite at KPESC

At KPESC, we value collaboration and understand the benefits of having therapy professionals work alongside our teaching staff. Onsite therapists help strengthen student learning and wellbeing by providing targeted support and strategies that complement classroom programs. This partnership ensures a holistic approach to meeting the individual needs of every child.

To maintain a safe and organized environment, therapists are welcomed onsite from Week 3 of Term 1 until the end of Week 8 in Term 4. Families wishing to engage therapy services during school hours must complete the Requesting Therapy Service Provider Access During School Hours form. This form should be completed by both the therapist and the family.

In addition to the form, therapists are required to provide:

  • NDIS Screening Check or Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (via Department of Education)
  • Working With Children Check
  • Public Liability Insurance (minimum $20 million) and Professional Indemnity Insurance (minimum $5 million)
  • A summary of the student’s therapy goals (if available)

Once documentation is received and approved, the therapist will be connected with the classroom teacher to arrange suitable session times.

If you have any questions or need assistance with the process, please contact the school office. We appreciate your support in creating a safe, collaborative environment that benefits every learner.
